About us
We are a group of 20 people, led by Professor Ali Salanti, within the department's section for Translational Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen. Our work is based on our discovery of a malaria protein that has been shown to specifically bind to a wide range of cancer types. By arming the protein with a toxin, we hope to deliver new cancer treatment options for patients. We are also working on using this discovery to diagnose cancer early in its course.
