Research Assistant
The position is for 8 months and with start from 1 November 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The candidate will work in close collaboration with the principal investigator in Horizon Europe projects to assist with project activities and day-to-day tasks for smooth implementation of the projects.

Educational and work experience
The candidate should have the following qualifications and work experience
- Master’s degree in environmental and natural resource economics
- Experience in implementing crop-soil-atmosphere process models viz. Yield-SAFE, Farm-SAFE and FARMTREE tool and system dynamics
- Statistical analysis of field trial data with GenStat and R software
- Experience in socio-economic studies and farm economics including scenario building
- Valorization of agricultural products from diversified production systems viz. agroforestry and cereal-legume intercrop
- Quantification and valuation of ecosystem services in agroecological practices
- Experience on report writing as deliverables and milestones for Horizon Europe projects
- Experience working with arable cropping systems in temperate zones
- Experience on workflow consisting of field sampling, data synthesis and analysis for valorization into manuscript
- Experience in carrying out environmental footprint analysis of agroecological practices
- Experience in agroforestry and cereal-legume production systems
Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
