Postdoc in Natural Resource Management and Human-Nature Relations Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, SCIENCE - UCPH
The Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for a 2-year fixed-term postdoc position, placed in the Section for Landscape Architecture and Society. The position term may be pro-longed based on performance and funding. We are looking for a postdoc who will be working for 1 year on the SNS-project INSPIRE and 1 year on the project Our Wild Nature (Vores Vilde Natur). As part of the INSPIRE project the postdoc will investigate values and perceptions for integrated forest management among private forest owners in Sweden. As part of the Our Wild Nature project the postdoc will investigate the general populations’ nature awareness in Denmark.
The postdoc should be able to design, implement and analyse choice experiments and questionnaire surveys. Furthermore, GIS expertise is a requirement. The postdoc is expected to be part of several joint research activities, involving researchers with different disciplinary skills. Hence, good collaboration skills are needed. The postdoc will take the lead on some of these activities as jointly agreed. The position requires Scandinavian language skills.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within human dimensions of natural resource management as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
