The Department of Chemistry invites applicants for a 2-year postdoc fellowship in computational homogenous catalyst discovery. 

The project

The project involves the use of quantum chemistry, machine learning, and genetic algorithms to search for new homogeneous chemical catalysts.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates within the field of computational chemistry. Applicants can have a background in cheminformatics including RDKit, machine learning applied to chemistry, and molecular modeling

Our group and research- and what do we offer?

Our group is focused on developing new computational methods for the prediction of chemical reactivity.

The group is a part of Department of Chemistry, Faculty of SCIENCE, University of Copenhagen. We are located in Copenhagen.

The postdoc’s duties will include research within Computational Chemistry as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
