Research Assistant in Frödin Group, BRIC,
We are looking for a highly motivated Research Assistant who will be part of a research project that focuses on CRISPR-based knockin editing of human pluripotent stem cells in genes for eye development and eye diseases, followed by in vitro differentiation of the edited cell cultures into primordial eye structures and assessment of the outcome of the editing.
Our group and research
We use functional genetics to unravel the genes, mutations and mechanisms that cause human disease. Our research takes outset in the myriad of genes found mutated by patient genome sequencing.
