Postdoc of Quantum Photonics
In the Quantum Photonics Group at the Niels Bohr Institute we are developing advanced single-photon quantum hardware based on the deterministic interfacing of single quantum dots to photonic nanostructures. With the present postdoc position we wish to strengthen the experimental activities on photonic quantum simulators. The postdoc will join an ongoing activity on proof-of-concept demonstration of photonic quantum neural networks by applying our deterministic single-photon sources in combination with advanced reconfigurable photonic circuits. Furthermore, advanced photonic cluster states will be tailored and applied in demonstrations of measurement based quantum algorithms. The position is available for a 2-year period.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within quantum photonics as well as teaching. The position may also include performance of other duties.
Further information about the group can be found at https://www.nbi.ku.dk/english/research/quantum-optics-and-photonics/quantum-photonics/ Inquiries about the position can be made to Professor Peter Lodahl, firstname.lastname@example.org
The position is open from 18 January 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
