Postdoc position in agri-environmental contracts

The Department of Food and Resource Economics, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen invites applications for a 3-year postdoctoral position in work on a newly funded European project on agri-environmental contracts to improve the delivery of public goods from European agriculture coordinated by Prof. Mette Termansen (www.ifro.ku.dk/english/research/projects/effect/ ).
 
The Department wishes to fill the position by 1 May 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.  
 
The postdoc will be working with a large team of environmental and agricultural economists from leading European research groups in the field. The postdoc’s duties will be to contribute to the development of the research protocols in the project, contribute to data collection and analysis, and write-up of the work into research papers and project deliverables to the Commission. Furthermore, the postdoc will assist the coordinator in the day-to-day management of the project and will have the opportunity to contribute to the Departments MSc programmes in Environmental and Resource Economics and in Agricultural Economics.  
 
Applicants must have a PhD degree, or be close to being awarded a PhD, in environmental/agricultural economics or equivalent, and should have research experience from working on agri-environmental issues in a EU context.
