Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine, reNEW is seeking an administrative student assistant

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine, reNEW, is looking for an administrative student assistant for 8 hr/week to join the Hub’s team who is responsible for Center wide leadership, research portfolio management, communication & outreach, and training & collaboration.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine, reNEW is an international consortium of three leading research institutions in Denmark, Australia, and the Netherlands. The administrative student assistant will be based at reNEW Hub, attached to  reNEW’s Copenhagen node, which is a vibrant, internationally diverse, and ambitious research center at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Department of Biomedical Sciences, at the University of Copenhagen.

Job description

As an administrative student assistant in the Hub, will have the opportunity to assist with data management, communication and coordination in an international environment.
You will support with the following tasks:

  • Supporting reNEW staff with travel bookings and reimbursements
  • Supporting in reporting administration: report form & link preparation, and communication
  • Assisting with data organization: creating database, cleaning and managing outputs.
  • Maintaining and organizing document databases
  • Ad hoc tasks

Qualifications and qualities

As an administrative student assistant, you are currently enrolled in an educational program (i.e. an active student), preferably in the beginning of your studies. We encourage all motivated students from any field of study to apply.

Success in the position requires reliability and attention to detail in the tasks, a service- and creative-minded attitude, and enjoying a multi-cultural environment. 

Working languages at reNEW are English and Danish. Therefore, excellent English and Danish written and oral skills are required.

Experience using Office 365 and REDCap (or other electronic data capture software) would be an advantage. 

Employment conditions

Employment conditions will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees –governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) under HK/STAT, labor grade 1. Salary is DKK 145,73 per hour. Varying working hours is to be expected, but the average working hours are 8 hours per week.
