Postdoc in Benchmarking for improving efficiency in forestry operations

Postdoc in Benchmarking for improving efficiency in forestry operations

University of Copenhagen

This Postdoc position offers an opportunity to work on the development of improved methods for achieving higher productivity in forest operation processes applying benchmarking models. The position will be part of a larger EU funded research project. We are seeking a younger scientist with a promising research track and experience in benchmarking (preferably, but not exclusively experience with forestry and forest operation processes) and who has excellent analytical, modeling and statistical skills relevant to research on benchmarking methods. We expect that the Postdoc will participate in the development and implementation of an interactive benchmarking system, including a systematic and anonymous integration of data on forest operation companies.
