Postdoctoral position in cellular and organismal aging

Job Description
The Scheibye-Knudsen lab is offering a two-year postdoctoral position to a highly motivated individual that will investigate how genome instability might influence metabolism and neuronal health. Using highly novel in silico, in vitro and in vivo approaches we try to understand the interplay between cellular and organismal metabolism and brain function, and what we can do to intervene in the aging process. The position is part of a new transatlantic collaboration between the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and the National Institute on Aging, NIH – USA. The primary place of employment will be at the University of Copenhagen while the successful candidate should be prepared to spend part of his/her employment period at the NIH.
