A two year postdoc position is open under the project ”MicroPlastDynamics” funded by the VILLUM FONDEN. The project deals with the sedimentology of micro plastics. Potential candidates must have a strong research and publication background within coastal or marine sedimentation, including documented experience with geochronology of coastal deposits. Field work experience will also be considered an advantage.  
The postdoc’s duties will include research within sedimentology and physical geography as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of employment  
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.  
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.  
The starting salary is currently up to DKK 413.717 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 70.746). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
