A successful candidate will have an outstanding record in the areas of experimental and solid-state quantum optics, semiconductor quantum dots, quantum nanophotonics, and near-infrared spectroscopy. Teaching and student supervising experience is a plus. The applicant is expected to be able to document scientific production at an international level and satisfactory teaching experience.

The position is open from April 1st or as soon as possible thereafter. The positon is open for a period of 1 year.

Terms of employment  
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.  
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.  
The starting salary is currently up to DKK 413.717 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 70.746). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
